BLBfacts

The Bringing Leadership Back PAC (BLB PAC) was created by Congressman Bruce Braley in 2008 to support candidates who share his vision of returning common sense leadership to the US House of Representatives.

For too long, our elected officials in Washington have succumbed to corruption and the politics of more-of-the-same. We need a new generation of leaders in Congress who are willing to clean up the mess and return the "people's house" to the people.

Congressman Braley was first elected to the House in 2006 in a race that national media outlets described as among the top 5 most competitive in the country. Because of his ability to win in a district that had been held by Republicans for 30 years, in 2008 Congressman Braley was named Co-Chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee's (DCCC) "Red-to-Blue" program, helping other Democrats win back Republican-held seats.

Already this year, Congressman Braley has worked to support strong, common-sense Democrats in three special elections: Rep. Bill Foster (IL-14), who won election in former Republican Speaker Dennis Hastert's old district; Don Cazayoux (LA-06); and Travis Childers (MS-01).

BLB PAC will work to elect other common-sense candidates like these three across the country this November.
